Gittel Chase Price is a fine art photographer who documents images of scenery and the people who inhabit those surroundings. Price’s photographs, often found on magazine and book covers, have been exhibited internationally and are part of many private and public collections. Public Georgia state collectors include: the Shepherd Center, Atlanta, the City of Roswell and the Pike County Historical Society. In 2009, Price was honored as a “Phenomenal Women of North Fulton,” and two years prior she was named “Distinguished Visual Artist of the Year” by the Roswell Cultural Arts Board. Price has also juried and curated exhibitions, worked with several local nonprofits and she is president of the Roswell Photographic Society and Women in Focus in Atlanta. Price earned a B.F.A. from Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, and continued her studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City.
