Vibha Galhotra works with numerous artistic mediums — sculpture and photography to video and drawing — to create multisensory works and installations. Her artistic practice crosses the dimensions of art, ecology, economy, science, spirituality and activism, and is inspired by the constant negotiation between humans and the environment. Through her work, Galhotra redefines her own existence and ownership in a commerce-driven world. In addition to her numerous solo exhibitions, Galhotra’s work has been included in the public collections of the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi, India; the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle, Washington; the Singapore Art Museum; the Essl Museum, Klosterneuburg, Austria; the Devi Art Foundation, Gurgaon, India; the Casoria Contemporary Art Museum, Italy; Europos Parkas, Lithuania; the Seattle Art Museum, Washington; the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in India, and more.
