Hsu-Jen Huang, Ph.D., originally from Taipei, Taiwan, is a SCAD architecture professor who has a limitless passion for architecture, art and photography. He has documented architecture and human social landscape throughout his travels around the world, especially capturing moments, events and expressions not just through the lens of camera and sketches, but also his views from a different angle to the world. In 2013, Huang’s photography was displayed at SCAD Atlanta during a solo exhibition, Journey | Destination: Views of the Tibetan Plateau, which showcased varied aspects of Buddhism in more than 20 villages and cites throughout the Chinese provinces of Qinghai, Gansu and Sichuan. Huang received his Doctor of Philosophy in Architecture from the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow University, Scotland.
