Welcome back FANS!

The excitement of the game will be the same, but many aspects of a event day experience in-stadium will reflect the new normal. Your health and safety, along with that of our players, coaches, and personnel, is – and always has been – priority number one.

To that end, Falcons and United have worked together with state and local officials to safely open Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The NFL & MLS are also working with all clubs to implement stadium protocols based on current public health recommendations, including from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), which are evolving as new information is available.

These new protocols are in place to help you feel confident, safe and comfortable when coming to our stadiums and enjoying a seamless experience – from the parking lot and turnstiles, to the concourses and ultimately, your seats.

However, like each player on a team, you play a key role. Because these protocols require everyone’s cooperation and teamwork, we’ve set out these guidelines to help make this a successful season for all.

In addition to these guidelines, we strongly encourage you to visit the home team’s website for more specific information and policies related to your attendance before heading to the stadium on event day.

Know Before You Go

Here are the things you will need to know to attend an event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium:

Mercedes-Benz Stadium is requiring that all guests age two and up must wear a face covering at all times (other than while actively eating or drinking, which is only permitted in your seats). It is strongly recommended that fans arrive at the stadium wearing face coverings, and wear them walking to and from parking lots or public transit. All Mercedes-Benz Stadium associates are required to wear face coverings.

Please assure that your face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) follow CDC Guidelines listed here, including but not limited to:

    • Be made with at least two layers of breathable material
    • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
    • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
    • Be secured around the face and allow the guest to remain hands-free

Thanks to our partners at Emory Healthcare, branded face coverings will be distributed to all fans in attendance for Atlanta Falcons games this season.

Thanks to our partners at Piedmont Healthcare, branded face coverings will be distributed to all fans in attendance for Atlanta United matches this season.

All stadium guests are expected to maintain social distancing throughout the stadium, including the seating bowl. Fans should pay attention to signage, only sit in their assigned seats and avoid other fans who are not a part of your group by at least six feet. Each fan should assure his or her comfort level with the fans attending the event as part of your group.

Wash hands for 20 seconds with soap and water, or use hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer will be readily available for your use throughout the stadium, and fans are encouraged to use it regularly.

If you have COVID-19, COVID-19 symptoms, or know you’ve been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days. All staff and stadium employees will have their temperature taken before entering the building. Any temperature above 100.4⁰F will be flagged, and that employee will be sent home.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium accepts card or mobile payment only and mobile tickets only for entry. Use Mobile Ordering in the Falcons, United or MBS app to order food and drinks at select locations. Entry to the stadium will be contactless via new innovative entry system.

Safe Concessions Experience

Mobile Ordering, Contactless, Individual Packaging

New experiences are in place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium to keep you safe when ordering food & beverage. Use our new mobile ordering system ‘Order ‘n Go’ via team apps or MBS app for a quick and safe experience. As always, Mercedes-Benz Stadium only accepts card or mobile payments.

All concessions will be individually packaged for your health and safety. All soft drink stations will be served via an attendant and cleaned regularly.

It's Go Time. Do Your Part.

In addition to the guidelines listed above, ticket holders will be asked to complete COVID-19 self-screening as added safety precaution:

All ticket holders must agree that neither they, nor any of their guests, will attend an event if any one or more of the following is true on event day:

  • Within the prior 14 days, they have tested positive for, or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for, COVID-19;
  • Within the prior 48 hours, they have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4⁰F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the CDC);
  • Within the prior 14 days, they have travelled to any state or international territory identified by federal or applicable local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.

Please note: According to the CDC, older adults and people of any age with serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk of death or severe illness from COVID-19. All guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend a game.

To help maintain physical distancing guidelines, ticket holders must also agree that they will not sell, transfer or otherwise provide any of their event tickets to anyone other than family with whom they have been sheltering (or other trusted acquaintances), unless selling, transferring or otherwise providing all such tickets (i.e., the full pod of tickets) to one party.

We're taking cleaning and disinfection to the next level. All "high touch" surfaces in stadium common areas will be cleaned before, during and after each stadium event. "High touch" surfaces include door handles, elevator buttons, handrails, sink handles, toilets, ATMs and other touch screens, turnstiles, vestibules, and water fountains.

Event tickets will be distributed in "pods" to support physical distancing between each group of ticket holders attending together, with the expectation that fans will be attending events with family members they have been sheltering with and/or with trusted acquaintances. These ticketing pods will be arranged six feet apart from the next seating pod (both in the same row and in front/behind the pod). For this reason, please make sure to sit in your assigned seat as the stadium will be blocking off unassigned seats as part of this effort.

We are reducing congestion when entering and exiting stadiums. This includes utilizing different entrances and exits for stadium staff and fans. Check your team's specific guidelines to see if there are designated entrances and exits that you should use and to see if your team will be assigning or staggering arrival and departure times. This will be your safest play and will help save you time.

Follow all posted signage to help maintain physical distancing. Check your team's specific guidelines to see if the use of staircases, elevators, and escalators are modified so that everyone flows in the same direction. Be smart and continue to abide by physical distancing markers that appear in elevators and on escalators.

Please stay home if you or anyone who you have been in close contact with has recently tested positive for COVID-19 or recently experienced a fever, ailment, or any symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

 COVID-19 Warning

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures for everyone entering Mercedes-Benz Stadium. All fans must follow all instructions (both from associates and posted throughout the building) while visiting Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.

Under Georgia law, there is no liability for an injury or death of an individual entering these premises if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of contracting COVID-19. You are assuming this risk by entering Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
