The Art Collection
at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

One of the nation’s most expansive exhibitions of artistry
The Art Collection at Mercedes-Benz Stadium reflects the electric fervor of Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC fans and offers a captivating perspective of sport that elevates the guest experience. From original painted murals and photography to mixed-media installations and monumental sculptures, the splendor of the unsurpassed collection — curated by the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) — will inspire all who visit the stadium.
Curatorial process
Mercedes-Benz Stadium partnered with the Savannah College of Art and Design to commission and curate world-class artwork and memorabilia. More than 1,200 fans were polled to identify preferred colors and themes and the university sent out requests for artist submissions. More than 650 portfolios were received for review, and SCAD selected 54 locally and internationally acclaimed artists to create works exploring subjects related to football, soccer and the history of Atlanta and Georgia.

The Savannah College of Art and Design is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution conferring bachelor’s and master’s degrees at distinctive locations and online to prepare talented students for professional careers.

Peace Up, A-Town Down
Growth is integral to Atlanta’s identity. From our past to our present, we have continuously transformed hardship and adversity into meaningful progress, tirelessly working towards “better” with our own hands.
The concept for this mural characterizes that aspiration and the dedication that it inspires. The “Peace Up” hand represents the focus on positive growth and the “A-Town Down” hand represents the willing effort. Together, our hands build for each other and care for each other. For the West Side, and for Atlanta as a whole, it’s how we strengthen our community.

ATLANTA IS BEAUTIFUL
The newly created piece “Atlanta is Beautiful,” created by renowned artist Mr. Brainwash, will be one of the most visible and prominent pieces in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium Art Collection. It will be viewed by hundreds of thousands of people each year and will be one of the first visual images they see when they enter the stadium.

RING OF HONOR
The Atlanta Falcons have unveiled a new location for their Ring of Honor to pay homage to current and future Ring of Honor inductees to highlight the legacy of their on-field performance, as well as their impact on the National Football League and the Atlanta community. The new space located inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s 100-yard club on the 300 level was created for Falcons fans to walk through the teams’ history and engage with each of the honorees to learn more about their legacy and impact.
