The Home Depot Backyard to Host Truist Night Market and Community Programming to Celebrate June Observances and Appreciations

Atlanta’s Backyard will showcase more than 50 small businesses during Truist Night Market on June 12 and its free community programs on June 16 and 17 in celebration of Juneteenth, African American Music Appreciation Month, Caribbean Heritage Month, Pride Month, and other June observances

ATLANTA(June 3, 2025) – The Home Depot Backyard (HDBY), as part of its Arts and Culture collection as supported by The Home Depot Foundation, will host a series of events and programs that celebrate multiple June observances and appreciations with Truist Night Market: Vibrant Vibes Edition on Thursday, June 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. followed by series of free community programs on June 16 and 17.

The Vibrant Vibes edition of Truist Night Market will feature more than 30 of Atlanta’s top chefs, restauranteurs, and artisans showcasing cuisines and goods from around the region while celebrating multiple June observances and appreciations, including Juneteenth, African American Music Appreciation Month, Pride Month, Caribbean Heritage Month, and others. Live musical entertainment for the evening will be headlined by Atlanta-based band Jukebox Atlanta, celebrating African American influence on music.  

Beverage partners for the event includes Tito's Handmade Vodka, who in partnership with The Home Depot Backyard, will partner with Second Helpings Atlanta, a non-profit food rescue organization that works to reduce hunger and food waste in metro Atlanta, to donate the event’s surplus food for meals to feed those in need.

Additional beverage partners being highlighted by several local, Black-owned beverage brands such as AVM Wine Company, Greenwood Whiskey, and Reyalibre Tequila, also LGBTQ+ owned, along with Atlanta Hard Cider, Longleaf Distilling, and others. Also featured will be non-alcoholic beverage partners that includes Little Sober Bar and 28 Black energy drink as well as brands from Dancing Goats Coffee.

Food offerings will feature Atlanta-inspired dishes from some of the region’s best chefs and restauranteurs, including Side Saddle, Belen Empanadas and Pastries, Phew's Pies, Good As Burger (vegan), Desta Ethiopian Kitchen, Hapa Kitchen, Jimmie’s Jerk Chicken, Doug’s NC BBQ, Irie Mon Caribbean Café and more to be announced.

Activations returning from the May event will be the Show Ur Ash mobile cigar lounge experience presented by 28 Black. Additional activations that attendees can enjoy will include, among other things, an event-themed paint by numbers immersive art experience curated by Sway Art, an LGBTQ+ owned art brand based in Atlanta, and presented by Truist.

Vendor Village, also presented by Truist, will showcase up to 20 local artisans and vendors that specialize in a variety of products and align with the celebration of June’s vibrant observances and appreciations.

On June 16 and 17, The Home Depot Backyard will continue celebrating June occurrences and appreciations with free community programming centered around its three pillars: Health and Wellness, Arts and Culture and Inspired Learning. The HDBY will feature a multitude of programs across the two days led by a host of Atlanta-based small businesses and entrepreneurs, including a ‘scratch and paint’ collaboration featuring Sway Art and the Scratch Out Loud DJ Experience celebrating Juneteenth and African American Music Appreciation Month, a Juneteenth-inspired content creator meet up led by the Cork Bros., and a host of health and wellness offerings.

Individual food and beverage packages for the June event are also now available at BigTickets.com. Tickets are required for entry and all attendees must be 21+ to enter. A limited number of entry-only tickets are also available at no cost.

Truist Night Market, in partnership with Southern Culinary & Creative, is one of The Home Depot Backyard’s most successful and tenured signature event series, highlighting more than 250 local restaurants and artisans from the region since 2019. Since its inception, thousands of attendees have enjoyed a series of evenings filled with live music, craft cocktails, delicious savory, and sweet food options as well as shopping with local artisans.
