Atlanta’s Backyard will showcase more than 30 women-owned small businesses, entrepreneurs, chefs, creators, and artisans during its final Night Market event of the season.
ATLANTA (October 3, 2024) – The Home Depot Backyard (HDBY), as part of its Arts and Culture collection provided by the Home Depot Foundation, will host its final night market of the season with Truist Night Market: Women’s Empowerment Edition on Thursday, October 17 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The latest edition of Truist Night Market will showcase more than 30 of the top women chefs, restauranteurs, and artisans from across the greater Atlanta region. Musical entertainment for the evening will feature award-winning jazz vocalist Brenda Nicole Moorer. Atlanta socialite Arkeedah McCormick returns as the event’s emcee.
The event’s lineup of beverage partners will spotlight several women-owned wine and spirit brands including AVM Wine Company, Anteel Tequila, NEFT Vodka, and Reyalibre Tequila. The event will also feature non-alcoholic options from another local woman-owned company, FruiTea Bubbles Café.
Additional beverage partners include Atlanta-based Greenwood Whiskey, local Georgia brewing company Creature Comforts Brewing and event mainstay Tito's Handmade Vodka, who in conjunction with The Home Depot Backyard, continues its partnership with Second Helpings Atlanta, a nonprofit food rescue organization working to reduce hunger and food waste in metro Atlanta, to donate the event’s surplus food to provide meals for those in need.
Food offerings will feature dishes from some Atlanta’s best chefs and restauranteurs, including Jen Chan’s, Leftie Lee’s, Belen Empanadas and Pastries, Hapa Kitchen, Flippin’ Sweets ‘n Treats, Desta Ethiopian Kitchen, Chef Chrissy, Nam Kitchen, Firepit Pizza Tavern, pastry chefs from Signia by Hilton, and more to be announced.
Several popular experiences return from previous events, including the Show Ur Ash mobile cigar lounge and the Spa Signia relaxation experience.
Vendor Village, presented by Truist, will showcase up to 20 women-owned, local artisans and vendors specializing in art, apparel, kitchenware, jewelry, home decor, skincare, and other products.
Food and beverage packages are now available at BigTickets.com. Tickets are required for entry and all attendees must be at 21 years old to enter. A limited number of entry-only tickets are available at no cost.
Truist Night Market, in partnership with Southern Culinary & Creative, is one of The Home Depot Backyard’s most successful and tenured signature event series highlighting more than 190 local chefs, restaurants, and artisans from the region since its inception. Since 2019, thousands of attendees have enjoyed a series of evenings filled with live music, craft cocktails, delicious savory, and sweet food options as well as shopping for fine goods and crafts with local artisans.
